The fastest blueberry pie is made on kefir dough by a method in which all products, including berries, are mixed with each other into a single mass. After this mass is simply poured into a suitable shape, round or square, and baked in a hot oven with one cake.

Pies with blueberries from yeast dough

Love pies? Then you will definitely like the filling of blueberries for pies. Blueberry pies are baked in the oven in the same way as with other fillings. Let's cook?

The dough can be prepared according to your favorite recipe. I suggest this one:

A glass of milk or kefir;

About 3 cups flour (we look at the consistency of the dough);

A pinch of salt;

1.5 teaspoons of fast-acting yeast;

2 tablespoons of vegetable oil;

Tablespoon of granulated sugar.

  1. Knead the dough and set to rise in a warm place, covered with a napkin from winding.
  2. For the filling, take fresh blueberries and mix with sugar (to taste). Berries will need a glass and a half. To prevent the filling from flowing out, you can add a little starch to it: a pinch is enough.
  3. When the dough is suitable, we form small pies, laying the filling neatly and firmly closing the “seam”, put it on a convenient baking sheet greased with oil. It is better to let the pies distance: cover the baking sheet with a towel and leave for ten minutes. Then brush with egg.
  4. We put a baking sheet in a preheated oven (180 gr) and bake pies until a uniform golden hue: about half an hour.

Pies with blueberries in a pan

The fried pies stuffed with blueberries are delicious too! We take absolutely any yeast dough. You can use the previous recipe. And do not forget to add starch to the filling - liquid in a hot pan - another nuisance!

In the filling, it is better to take crushed blueberries with sugar, previously slightly squeezed out of the juice.

Pies should be small. Rolling out the dough thinly, we get “holes” in the body of the pie and the leaked filling; rolling out thicker - we risk tasting unbaked pies, so we keep the golden mean! Fry the pies on medium heat for about 2 minutes on each side! It is good to take oil without smell, otherwise baking with blueberry flavor will be interrupted.

    1. Remove the butter in advance and bring to a soft state, add flour to it, salt, mix the dough by adding ice water.
    2. Knead the dough with your hands for at least 15 minutes, and then roll it into a tight ball. Lubricate with oil and put in the cold for at least an hour, closing the top.
    3. Mix cherries and blueberries in separate containers with lemon juice.
    4. Mix the starch and sugar well so that there are no lumps and cover with a quarter of the cherry, and the remaining amount of blueberries.
    5. Roll out the dough into a thin layer, cut out a circle for the pie, and cut figures from the remains, for example, triangles.
    6. Arrange the dough in a round shape and put the filling on it: first cherry, and then cover it with blueberries.

We lay out the cut out figures in random order on top of the pie and put the dessert in the oven for 30-40 minutes until the dough is ready.

Cutting the finished dessert is very careful, hot berries can severely burn the skin.
